Gikhrist (pronounced: GAI-kraist)

From the Old Scottish name Gilchrist — meaning servant of Christ. It is the second name of both my sons. And it is the heartbeat of everything I do here.
This Is Not a Brand. It’s My Life.
I am Gladies. And Gikhrist is simply me — living my authentic life out loud, sharing the lessons I have learned, the faith that has carried me, the family that has shaped me, the health I have had to fight for, and the happiness I have had to choose every single day.
I am not here as an expert standing above you. I am here as someone walking the same road — real, unfiltered, and fully committed to living the life God designed for me. If my journey can empower even one person to do the same, then every word, every post, every step of this is worth it.
What Gikhrist Is Built On
Life is not meant to be lived in pieces. At Gikhrist, everything comes back to four pillars — the same four things I come back to every single day:
Faith — the first pillar. The one that holds everything else. Everything may crumble to dust, but Jesus will always be with you. That is not a cliché. That is the only thing I know for certain.
Family — God’s greatest gift to you. Not a footnote in your busy life — the main event. The table you gather around, the people you are raising, the relationships you are tending. They deserve your best.
Health — not vanity, not obsession, but stewardship. You cannot live fully, serve deeply, or show up wholly without a body and mind that are well cared for. Your health is a gift. Treat it like one.
Happiness — the reward for living all of this with intention. But also a daily choice that must be made and protected. Joy does not wait for perfect circumstances. It is built, practiced, and chosen — even on the hard days.
